Janice L. Woodward

Mrs. Janice L. Woodward, age 76, of Cass City, passed away Sun., Dec, 10, 2023 at her home.

She was born Nov. 6, 1947, in Detroit, daughter of the late Thomas and Helen (Cone) Devine. On Dec. 12, 1970, she married Robert Woodward in Cass City. Robert passed away Dec. 17, 2021. She worked as a Nurse at Provencial House (now Medilodge) in Cass City and as a EMT in Cass City. She also worked at Walbro and as a waitress at Sherwood on the Hill, all along farming with Robert. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Janice is survived by her sons, Rusty (the late Denise) Woodward of Snover, Bob Woodward of Cass City and Ronnie (Crystal) Woodward of Cass City, 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a sister, Cecelia (the late David) Bender of Caro. She was predeceased by her son Paul Woodward and brothers, Thomas Devine, Charles Devine and David Devine.

Visiting will be Thurs., Dec. 14, 2023 from 12 noon until 4 PM at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City. Burial will be on Fri., Dec, 15, 2023 at 12 noon in Evergreen Township Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
