Michael "Chico" Anthony Russell

Mr. Michael “Chico” Anthony Russell, age 65, of Owendale, passed away, Nov. 27, 2023 in his home.

He was born March 16, 1958, to the late Ralph and Mary (Bettes) Russell in Almont. Chico worked as an independent automotive mechanic. He enjoyed working on cars, he restored a 1963 Ford Fairlane, and he liked going to garage sales.

Chico is survived by his siblings, John (Denice) Russell of Owendale, Donald Russell of Munger, Mark (Michelle) Russell of Marlette, Kathy Dohring of Wolverine, Frances (Rick) Pangburn of Sandusky, Christine Hubbard of Houghton Lake and Karen (Robert Himmelein) Johnson of Saginaw and many loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, especially his great niece, Hannah Russell. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, James (the late Sandra) Russell and Timothy Russell.

Honoring Chico’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service is being planned, for some time in the spring.
