Aileen L. Hawkins, age 91, of Deford, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at Tendercare Cass City.
She was February 22, 1919 in Spartanburg, SC, the daughter of the late George Washington and Lulu (Cash) Wease. Aileen worked in the cotton mills during WWII and also worked for Glendale Foods, she enjoyed gardening and her dogs.
She is survived by her children, Donnis (the late Archie) Adams of Sterling Heights, Rayeleen (John) Clark of NC and Finettie (the late Billy Kokenos) Hawkins of Warren, 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 5 great, great grandchildren and a brother, Talmadge (the late Ezza Dale) Wease of SC. She was predeceased by a daughter, Marleen Mullins and a son, Aldo Hawkins.
Visiting is Friday, October 15, 2010 from 2 until 9 PM and on Saturday, October 16, 2010 from 10 until an 11 AM service at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City. Pastor David Cooper will officiate. Burial is in Marlette Cemetery.
