Arlene Lowe

Mrs. Arlene Lowe, age 86, of Deford, passed away on Fri., Jan. 10, at Tuscola County Medical Care Facility surround by her family.

She was born Oct. 20, 1933 to the late Stanley and Velma (King) Wills. Arlene married Gerald Lowe in her parent’s home in Greenleaf Twp., on April 17, 1954. He passed away Feb. 4, 2006. She was a member of Mizpah Missionary Church and enjoyed farming, driving the tractor and milking cows, gardening, canning and quilting and loved time with and watching her grandchildren.

Arlene is survived by her daughters, Lorna (Timothy) Dorland, of Deford and LuEllen (Tim) Romain of Caro, grandchildren, Trent (Carol) Dorland of Deford, Monica (Scott) Bostian of Kingston, Megan (Andrew) DeGraaf of Caro, Kristina (Dirk) Hartman of Unionville and Eric Romain of Chicago, IL, great grandchildren, Hunter, Logan and Nathan Hartman, Seth, Marissa and Ava Dorland and Ellie and Layla Bostian, brother, Harold Wills, sister-in-law, Violet Wills, both of Cass City, special friend, Robert Brunner of Kingston, sisters-in-law, Georgine (Clare) Brown of Ubly, Anna Lowe of Shields, Mary Ann Lowe of Deford and Linda (Elwyn) Helwig of Cass City, brother-in-law, Dale Lowe of Snover. She was predeceased by great grandchildren, Justin Aaron and Micheal Aaron Dorland, Sisters and Brothers-in-law, Dorothy and Don Wessels, Lee Wills, Karen Wills, Orwood Lowe, Dean Lowe, Keith Lowe, Elaine and Russell Hillaker and Robert and Wenola Lowe.

Visitation will be Mon., Jan. 13, from 2 - 8 PM at the Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City and on Tue., Jan. 14, from 9 AM until an 11 AM service Deford Community Church, 1392 Kingston Rd. Pastors Dale Bullock and J. T. Mabe, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Twp. Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Mizpah Missionary Church or Tuscola County Medical Care Facility.
