Mrs. Barbara Ann Hendrick, age 77, of Cass City, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2014 at McLaren Bay Region, Bay City surrounded by loved ones.
She was born February 13, 1937 in Wyandotte, MI to Harold and May (Nowland) Mittlestat. She married Donald Edward Hendrick on June 22, 1957. they were married 57 years, Donald preceded her in death on May 19, 2014. Barbara enjoyed spending time in her flower and vegetable gardens. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, playing cards and reading. She worked at Walbro in Cass City for over 40 years and on the family farm until she retired in 2002.
She is survived by her 5 children, Cheryl (Wade) LaJoie of Wellington, OH, Sharon Swalwell of Cass City, Donald (Sharolyn) Hendrick of Lake Ann, MI, Mariea Berry (Keith Lindsey) of Oakland, MI and Harold (Erica) Hendrick of Caro, MI, 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, and her sisters, Mary Helen Gault of Caro, Joyce Jacot of AZ, and brothers, Harold Mittlestat, Jr. of AZ and Glen Mittlestat of Brown City, MI.
Honoring Barbara's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Novesta Church of Christ, 2896 Cemetery Rd., Cass City on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Barbara Hendrick to United Hospice of Marlette.
