Bernard W. Parsons

Mr. Bernard W. Parsons, age 97, of Cass City, passed away Sun., Oct. 24, 2021 at his home with his family by his side. 

He was born Oct. 26, 1923, in Canada, the son of the late Horace and Agnes (Laundry) Parsons. Bernard married Joan Stalker Jan. 22, 1955 in Detroit. She passed away Dec. 6, 2006 after 51 years of marriage. He served in the U S Army Air Corps (U S Air Force) during WW II. Bernard retired from the City of Detroit where he worked as an inspector. He was a self taught artist, doing Painting, Chalk Drawings, playing the Accordion, Organ and Piano.

Bernard is survived by his children, Gloria Little, Denise Cooper, Bernie Parsons, Mary (the late Pete) Arthur, Mathew (Julie) Parsons, Patrice (John) Arthur and David Parsons, 23 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, 1 great, great grandchild. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his son, Steven Parsons. Visitation will be Thurs., Oct. 28, 2021 from 9 AM until a 12 noon service at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City. Dale Bullock will officiate.

Burial will be in Evergreen Township Cemetery. Honors service by members of the U S Air Force.
