Betty Jeane Stilson

Mrs. Betty Jeane Stilson, age 88, of Cass City,
passed away, Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Medilodge
of Cass City.

Betty was born March 17, 1928 in Deford, the daughter
of the late Eldon and Lillie (Ferguson) Bruce. She
married Gerald Stilson, July 25, 1947 in at her parents
home in Deford. They were married 57 years, until he
passed away October 27, 2004. Having attended college,
she worked as a bookkeeper, assisting Gerald in the
different businesses they had, such as Bigelow Hardware,
Space Age Motel, and the Quaker Maid Store in Cass City.
She enjoyed crafts, crossword puzzles and traveling all
over with Gerald.

Betty is survived by her children, Jill (Elmer) Parrish of Gagetown, Mary King of Deford and Jerri (Dan) Rummel of Unionville, grandchildren, Jamie Parrish, Kristie Speirs,
Justin King, Ryan King, Kyle Kitchen, Kary Kitchen, Jared
Stilson and Jade Stilson, great grandchildren, Zoe Speirs,
Kellie Speirs and Kaleb Kitchen, and a sister, Marybelle
(Duane) Thompson of Marlette. She was predeceased by her
son Eldon Stilson on March 18, 2010 and 2 sisters, Martha
Blehm and Janet Lynn.

Honoring Betty's wishes, cremation has taken place and a
memorial service will be held at Novesta Church of Christ, 2896 Cemetery Rd., Cass City Friday, June 10, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Brad Speirs officiating. Family and friends may start gathering at 10:30 AM.
