Mrs. Beverly Verne Ball, age 80, of National City, MI formerly of Mio, MI passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Rolling Acres Home, East Tawas, MI.
She was born August 13, 1930 in Lake Orion, MI the daughter of the late Edward and Ethel (Voss) Kowalsky. On April 16, 1955 she married Elmer Ball in Pontiac, MI, he passed away November 26, 2005. Beverly worked in accounting for Pontiac State Bank, and also owned and operated with Elmer, the B-Line Charter Bus Company in Keego Harbor, MI for over 30 years.
Beverly is survived by her step-children, Robert Ball of CA, Ronald (Judith) Ball of National City and Karen (Larry) Eaton of Flushing, MI, 10 step-grandchildren and 11 step-great grandchildren, and three sisters, Mavis Wilson of Fairview, MI, Justine Lamb of AZ and Adrian (Dick) Kerby of CA.
Visiting is Wednesday, March 9, 2011 from 10 AM until a 1 PM service at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City, Scott Mills officiating. Burial will be in the spring in Elkland Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation.
