Cecilia V. Marchand

Mrs. Cecilia V. Marchand,age 74, of Waterford, MI, formerly of Cass City, MI passed away at her home on Sunday, June 3, 2007.

Ceclila was born and raised in Cass City, the daughter of the late Chas and Johanna Brown and was a 1951 graduate of Cass City High School. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, Waterford and the Ladies Auxillary-Knights of Columbus, Clarkston, MI.

Cecilia is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Gerard "Gerry" Marchand, a son, Joseph (Pamela) Marchand of Lake Orion, MI, two grandchildren, Craig and Paula, and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Cecilia was predeceased by a daughter, Gail and a sister, Sophie Hubel.

Visiting will be Tuesday, June 5, 2007 from 3 - 5 and 7 - 9 PM at the Coats Funeral Home, 3141 Sashabaw Rd., Waterford. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, 5495 Dixie Hwy., Waterford. There will also be visitation on Thursday, June 7, 2007 from 3 - 5 and 7 - 9 PM at the Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City. A Burial Service will take place on Friday, June 8, 2007 at 11 AM at Elkland Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church.
