Charles H. Mason

Mr. Charles H. Mason, age 70, of Deford, passed away suddenly, on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at his residence.

He was born October 3, 1949, in Highland Park, the son of the late J. T. and Unita (Ragan) Mason. On September 8, 1990 he married Nancy Lynn Tomlin in Redford. Charles served in the U. S. Army in Vietnam and was a member of the VFW. He was a retired Crane Repairman and over the years he enjoyed fishing, hunting, car cruises and car shows.

He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Nancy Lynn, children, Colin Mason and Emily Mason, both of Deford, 2 sisters, Cherrie (the late Clifford) Lay and Brenda Stephens, both of Yale.

Visitation will be held at the Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City, Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 1 PM until 5 PM, with a funeral service at 5 PM, with members of the VFW Post #3644 officiating. Burial will be in the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.
