Charles Edward Myers, Jr., 72, of Ubly, passed away peacefully at home, May 11, 2026, surrounded by his family.

He was born on Aug. 23, 1953, in Mt. Clemens to the late Charles Edward Myers, Sr. and LaDonna (Ragsdale) Myers. He married Michelle Bauss on Dec. 28, 1979, and they renewed their vows in 1994 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Marlette. Chuck served in the U.S. Army as a field medic in Frankfurt, Germany, and later worked as a draftsman in the automotive industry. He enjoyed fishing, especially for walleye and salmon, hunting, and, most of all, spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle; his children, Charles Edward (Tabatha) Myers, III of Cass City and Melissa (Jeff) Myers of Gagetown; his grandchildren, Olivia, Gordon, Ethan, Mary, Brooke, and Charles IV; his great-grandchildren, Eric, Jaxxon, and a baby girl due in September; his sister, Cheryl (Mark) Hidgon of Fraser; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Clara Lou Myers, who raised him, and siblings, Dennis Myers and Denise Miller.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Family Parish, St. Elizabeth Church, 6817 Marlette Rd., Marlette Thurs., May 21, 2026 at 11 AM. Fr. Amal Madanu as celebrant. Family and friends may start gathering at 10 AM. Honors service by members of the U S Army will follow.
