Obituary
Mrs. Cheryl Ann Apley, age 75, of Gagetown, passed away, Wed., May 25, 2022 at her home.
She was born Oct. 20, 1946, in Sebewaing, to the late Frank and Helen (Erbisch) Hodder. Cheryl married Ronald Apley in Sebewaing, Nov. 11, 1967. He passed away March 8, 2020. She worked for the Huron Daily Tribune, the Kmart in Bad Axe, Walmart in Caro and for Minden Wire. She enjoyed fishing with her pretty fishing lures, crocheting, adult coloring books, sewing and travel up north with Ron.
Cheryl is survived by her children, Roger Apley of Bay City, Ronda (Rick) Oswald of Miden City and Jon (Tammy) Apley of Gagetown, grandchildren, Richard, Sabrina, Randi, Timothy, Aaron, Rochelle, Molli and Nathaniel and 6 great grandchildren, siblings, Ralph (Cindy) Hodder and Robert Hodder, both of Sebewaing, Charles (Vivian) Hodder of Deford and Mary (Don) Jahr of Sebewaing. She was predeceased by a daughter, Cheri Thorp.
Honoring Cheryl’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be Fri., June 10, 2022 at 11 AM at Ellington Church of the Nazarene, 2545 Lazelle Rd., Caro. Family and friends may start gathering at 10.
