Clara Jones Obituary
Mrs. Clara M. Jones, age 87, of Cass City, formerly of Alpena, where she lived most of her life, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2008 at her daughter's home in Cass City.
Clara was born January 30, 1921 in Alpena, the daughter of the late John and Anastasia (Kaszubowski) Timmreck. On July 13, 1940 she married Clarence Jones in Alpena. He passed away in December 2001. Clara retired after working many years at Owl Café in Alpena. She enjoyed crocheting and other crafts, and spending time with her doggie grandchild Tiffany. Clara is survived by 2 daughters, Joyce Januchowski and Marcia Jones of Cass City, 2 brothers, Henry Timmreck of Benzonia and Vern Timmreck of Alpena, a grandson, Brain (Mary) Jones of Caro, great grandchildren, Robert, Amanda and MaKinzey, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Robert Jones, and 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
Visiting is Wednesday, April 30, 2008 from 2 until a 4 PM service at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City. Pastor Jay Barsejeau of First Baptist church of Bad Axe officiating. Cremation will follow at Sunset Valley Crematory, Bay City. Memorials may be made to Home and Hospice Advantage, Cass City.
