Mr. Clare Alfred Schember, age 65, of Cass City, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Amazing Love AFC home in Caro.
Clare was born January 16, 1944 in Pigeon, son of the late Walter and Eleanor (Lucht) Schember. He worked in manufacturing, was a big NASCAR fan, enjoyed yard work, carpentry and especially time with his family. He served in the U S Army in Vietnam.
Clare is survived by his wife Eva, children, Christine Huizar of Unionville, Jim Schember of Sebewaing, Jody (Woody) Juzek of Owendale, James Clark of TX, Karen Feldhouse of Elkton, Debra Kay Clark of OH, Kevin (Kim) Clark of Coronna, Michelle Tkacz of CA, Michael (Jamie) Tkacz and Joseph (Rhonda) Tkacz, both of Owendale, 7 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Honoring Clare's request cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation is Sunday, November 1, from 2 until 6 PM at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City. Memorial Service Monday, November 2 at 1 PM with Pastor Cameron Steele of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Caro officiating.
