Clyde J. Leitermann

Mr. Clyde J. Leitermann, age 69, of Cass City, passed away at

Medilodge of Cass City on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 after a battle

with cancer.

He was born May 2, 1948, the son of John and the

late Deloris (Sinkoski) Leiterman. Clyde worked as a Postal carrier

for the US Post Office. He loved history and was involved with

the Historical Society in Sebewaing and the Thumb Octagon Barn.

He was a skilled musician, and liked old-time, folk and 1800's music,

he played the accordion, guitar, banjo, harmonica and concertina

and enjoyed singing. He also enjoyed poetry, reading, was a wonderful

cook and gardener, loved nature and the Cass River.

Clyde is survived by his children, Lily (Brian Hoeh) Leitermann of OR,

Nicholas (Elida) Leitermann of OR and Annie Trotter of AZ,

grandchildren, Alisa, Isaiah and Bryson Trotter, Nahshon

Leitermann and Marin Hoeh, his father, John Leiterman, a sister, Donna
(special friend, Klaus Zoepke) Burke of OH and best friend and ex-wife, Barbara

Leitermann.

Honoring Clyde's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service is
being planned for July 7, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Thumb Octagon Barn,
6948 Richie Rd, Gagetown, MI. Dale Bullock of Mizpah Missionary Church will officiate.
