Dalton Andrew Powell

Mr. Dalton Andrew Powell, age 20, of Deford, who recently moved to North Dakota, where he passed away in an accident on his way to work, Jan. 7, 2021.

He was born Oct. 1, 2000, to Lloyd Armstead, II and Jessica Powell in Bad Axe. Dalton was a 2018 graduate of Cass City High School where he played football. He loved all things outdoors, hunting, fishing, snowmobile racing, playing and hanging with his dogs and had a love for playing and writing music. He enjoyed working with animals and loved spending time with family and friends. Dalton will be greatly missed, but his memory will carry on.

He is survived by his parents, Jessica (Nick) Zartman of Cass City and Lloyd Armstead, II of Argyle, 3 sisters, Gloria Armstead, Riley Armstead, Grace Zartman and a brother, Drake Zartman, a niece, Karter Scherret, Grandparents, Gloria Powell of Kingston, Lloyd and Rose Armstead of Argyle, Dave and Yvonne Zartman of Cass City. And his partner, Sophie Allan and her parents, Dave and Shannon Allan of Deford. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Noal Powell.

Memorial visitation will be Sat., Jan. 23, 2021 at Novesta Church of Christ, 2896 Cemetery Rd., Cass City from 12 noon until 1 PM, time of service. Please follow Covid suggestions, and wear a mask and practice social distancing.
