Danny Allen Obituary
Mr. Danny B. Allen, age 73 of Deford, passed away, Wed., April 19, 2017
at his home after a long illness.
Danny was born Sept. 17, 1943 in Hutchinson, KS the son of the late Burton and Waunita (Reeves) Allen. He married Patricia Haney on May 20, 1962 in Deford. His first love was the Lord Jesus Christ, and served in the US Air Force as a Nuclear Missile Technician, serving during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He owned Dan's Fireplace and Stove for 47 years, he enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, was a 4H Resource Volunteer, worked with Mission Outreach at Deford Community Church, both in the U.S. and overseas, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Danny is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Patricia, children, David (Shannon) Allen and Patricia (Mark) Hansen, both of Deford and Melannie (Xavier Dupont) Allen of France, 9 grandchildren and 3.5 great grandchildren, sister, Lora (Shelby) Ennis of KY, Juanita Phelps of IN and Jean (Alvin) Ellison of AZ. He was predeceased by a brother, David Allen.
Visiting will be Mon., April 24, 2017 from 11 AM until a 2 PM service at Deford Community Church, 1392 Kingston Rd., Deford. Pastor David Cooper officiating.
Burial will be in Novesta Township Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Gideons or to Deford Community church for Dr. and Mrs. Webb.
