It is with the deepest sorrow that I inform you that the love of my life has left this Earth.
David Grushka, age 50, of Cass City, passed away after a short illness, Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at McLaren Bay Region, Bay City. He was a wonderful, thoughtful, kind, compassionate man. I was blessed to have spent the past 24 years with him. He will be forever missed.
David was born January 10, 1971, in Detroit, the son of the late Yair and Virginia (Rutz) Grushka. He worked for UPS for over 20 years and also, for Scott’s Quik Stop for 13 years as manager. He loved cars, motorcycles, and guns, he especially loved his family and friends. David was all around, a people person.
He is survived by the love of his life, his fiance, Heather Shagena, children, Tyler (Brandi Holloway) TerBush of Bay City and Trent (Ashley Mulrath) TerBush of Cass City, a grandchild, Tyler TerBush, Jr. and his brother, Michael Larges of Cass City. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Mark Papadelis.
Honoring David’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 1 until 4 PM at the Cass City Gun Club, 2676 N. Englehart Rd., north of Severance Rd. Please join us in sharing food and memories. You may bring adult beverages if you care to do so.
