Dawn Rae Haag, age 77, of Cass City, passed away, Fri., Jan. 20,
2017 at her home.
Dawn was born Nov. 14, 1939 in Bay Port, daughter of the late Clarence Forman and Zella (Minnick) and step-father, Clarence Scott. On June 21,
1958 she married Ronald A. Haag in Kilmanagh, he died Aug. 12, 1992.
She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Cass City, was
part of the last graduating class of Bay Port High School, and enjoyed
fishing, bingo, road trips, the Detroit Tigers and especially spending time
with her many friends, and her family.
Dawn is survived by her children, Ronald Haag of Minden City, Carla (Carl) Cifka of Cass City, Brian (Tracy Ritter) Haag of New Hudson and Tonya Lawhorn of Gagetown, grandchildren, Ronald and Kathy Haag, Kristie (Kevin) Dorsch, Karie Haag, Ryan Haag, Matthew Dzielinski, Paul Dzielinski, Meri Dzielinski, Cory and Brittany Haag, Brad (Nikki Guigar) Haag, Justin Haag, Alicia Ford (Daniel Bucholtz) MacKennzie Lawhorn, step-grandchildren Robert Schmitt and Travis Schmitt, great grandchildren, Christian, Anthoney, Mariea, Steven and Alex Haag, Kelsey and Hunter Badger, Haylee and Nina Bucholtz and one due in Aug., sisters in law, Melva Forman, Shirley Hill, Marilyn Beard and Joann (Gordon) Bigham, brother in law, Mark Rathje, many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by parents in law, Arthur and Ida Haag, brothers, Clarence (Sandra) Forman, Carl Forman, sister, Myra Rathje, brother in laws, Kenneth Hill and Vearl Beard, daughter in law, Kelly (Meredith Schmitt) Haag and son in law, Doral Lawhorn. Her family wants to thank Heartland Hospice, Region VII A.A.A. and her main caregivers, Cassandra and Katelyn.
Memorial visitation will be Fri., Jan. 27 from 12 Noon until a 1 PM service at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 6820 Main St. Pastor Steve Bagnall officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Elkland Township Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the family.
