Mr. Dewayne Curtiss Horne, age 56, of Cass City, MI formerly of Rice, VA passed away Sunday, November 23, 2008 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Curtiss was born February 23, 1952 in Albuquerque, NM son of Alfred and Mary (Rock) Horne. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. Curtiss was a truck driver working in construction for Built-Rite, Inc., he enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, and Harleys.
Curtiss is survived by his children, Michele Blaisdell of Davison, Melissa (Robert) Dickson of Shelby Township And Candice Horne of Clinton Township, his parents, Alfred and Mary Horne of Cass City, siblings, Marie (Larry) Groombridge of Traverse City, Frederick Horne of Decker, Randy (Marie) Horne, Donald (Robin) Horne, Allan (Jenny) Horne, Michael (Dannielle) Horne and Robert Horne, all of Cass City, grandchildren, Nicholas, Ariel, Darren and Wyatt, many loving nieces and nephews and very good friend, Donald Cory, Jr.
Visiting is Tuesday, November 25, at from 2 until 8 PM and Wednesday, November 26, from 12 noon until a 1 PM service at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City with Pastor J. T. Mabe of Mizpah Church, officiating. Pallbearers for Cutriss will be his 6 brothers. Burial will be in Novesta Twp. Cemetery.
