Diane Smith Obituary

Diane Colleen Smith, age 60, of Minden City, formerly of Baldwin, passed away Fri., Aug. 3, 2012, at Autumnwoods, Deckerville.

She was born Sept. 29, 1951 in Cass City, the daughter of the late Leonard and Colleen (Thorp) Hawley. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, coloring books, watching Hee Haw reruns and Bible Study. She was a member of Goodwill Baptist Church, Baldwin.

Diane Colleen is survived by her siblings, George (Lois) Hawley of Minden City, James (Kim) Hawley of AZ, Sandra (Wil) Craig of Gagetown and Ronald (Pam) Hawley of Cass City, and many loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and a great, great niece and nephew. She was predeceased by a brother, Mark Hawley and 1 nephew, Joe Hawley and 2 great nephews, Derek and Daryl Hawley. Visitation is Tues., August 7, 2012 from 12:00 Noon until a 2 PM Service at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City. Officiated by Pastor Leroy Childress. Burial will be in Ellington Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or the Family Discretionary Fund.
