Mr. Donald W. Chisholm, age 86, of Cass City, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at Northwood Meadows, Cass City.
He was born January 6, 1925 in Owendale, the son of the late Franz and Dora (Dhyse) Chisholm. Donald married Margaret A. Mayhew on October 14, 1950 in Bad Axe. He served in the U S Air Force in WW II, Korea and during the Vietnam Era. He enjoyed photography.
Donald is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Margaret, his son, Rex (Kathleen) Chisholm, PHD of Chicago, IL, brother, Fred (Lois) Chisholm of Pigeon and sister, Joyce (the late James) Mosher of Cass City. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert Chisholm and two sisters, Geraldine Hendricks and Grace Chisholm.
Memorial visitation will be Saturday, November 19, 2011 from 10 until an 11 AM service at First Presbyterian Church, 6505 Church St., Cass City. Pastor David Blackburn officiating. Cremation has taken place and burial will be in Colfax Cemetery, Bad Axe.
Honors service by members of the U S Air Force.
