Donald James "Ozzie" Osentoski, age 68, of Cass City, formally of Ubly, died Sunday, December 18, 2016 at home. He was born January 15, 1948 in Bad Axe to David and Eleanore (Ostrowski) Osentoski.
After high school Don enlisted in the Navy and served on the USS Wasp aircraft carrier. He was able to travel to many different countries during his time on the Wasp. After getting out of the Navy he eventually moved to Detroit and worked for many years. After relocating to Cass City he worked several years at the Shell Gas Station, convenience store where he met a lot of people and helped start their morning out right.
Don is survived by his wife Lorraine, his siblings: Richard (Esther) Osentoski, Evelyn (Dick) Clor, Ken (Lois) Osentoski and Mary Ann Osentoski. Don is also survived by his two sons Joseph and Donald, several grandchildren and many nieces, nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Betty.
Cremation has taken place and per Don's wishes there will not be any services. Burial will take place at a later time.
