Donna Groombridge Obituary
Mrs. Donna D. Groombridge, age 83, of Cass City, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at Huron Medical Center, Bad Axe.
She was born May 12, 1926 in Muskegon, MI, the daughter of Ernest and Naomi (Carpenter) Erickson. Donna married Wellington Groombridge, March 24, 1946 in Flint. He passed away in 1993. She was a loving and attentive wife, mother and grandmother.
Donna is survived by her children, Larry (Marie) Groombridge of Traverse City, James (Arlene) Groombridge of Cass City and Sue (Lee) Voss of Deford, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild, and brothers, John (Betty) Erickson and Wic (Nell) Erickson, both of GA, and Frank (Mary Jane) Erickson of Central Lake. She was predeceased by a son, Jack Groombridge, a daughter, Sally Groombridge and a brother, David (Arlene) Erickson.
Visiting is Wednesday, February 24 from 4 until 8 PM and Thursday, February 25 from 12 noon until a 2 PM service at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City. Harley and Bill Dorman officiating. Burial will be in the spring at Novesta Township Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund.
