Dorothy Knight Obituary
Dorothy Knight, age 97, of Cass City, passed away, Friday,
December 9, 2016 at Satchell's Christian Retirement Home,
Caro.
Dorothy was born February 22, 1919 in Bentley, the
daughter of the late William and Evelana (Peters) Eaton. She
was a member of Trinity Methodist Church, now Cass City
United Methodist Church, she sang in the church choir, was a foster grandparent at Cass City Public Schools and Headstart, was active
in Big Brothers/Big Sisters, enjoyed reading, sewing, music and
most of all time with family, especially her grandchildren.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Susan (Edward) Stoutenberg
of Cass City, four grandchildren, Matt, Nick (Jennifer), Jarod and
Jeff and great granddaughter, Aubrie. She was predeceased by a
son, Timothy Knight and 8 brothers and sisters.
A committal service will be held in the chapel at Elkland Township
Cemetery at 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 13, 2016. Pastor Jackie
Roe of Cass City United Methodist Chruch will officiate. Burial is in
Elkland Township Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Cass City United Methodist Church.
