Douglas Parks Obituary
Mr. Douglas Parks, age 83, of Lapeer, MI passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at Genesys Regional Medical Center, Grand Blanc, MI.
Douglas was born December 4, 1924 in Birmingham, MI the son of the late Howard and Beatrice (Hack) Parks. He served in the U S Navy during WWII, and enjoyed gardening, fishing, dancing and singing, and living his retirement years in Arkansas.
Douglas is survived by his daughters, Victoria Turk and Patricia Hartwick, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and two sisters, Virginia Renburg and Lois Muxlow. He was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters, Arthur, Howard, Isabelle and Geraldine.
A private family funeral service was held. Burial was in Novesta Township Cemetery, Novesta Township, MI. Military honors under the direction of the United States Navy.
