Edith Pugh Obituary

Mrs. Edith Mae Pugh, age 79, of Deford, passed away Tues., Nov. 20, 2012, at Tendercare, Cass City after a long illness.

She was born Jan. 28, 1933 in Birchton, WV the daughter of the late George and Lola (Huffman) Laws. She married John Pugh on July 30, 1947, he passed away Nov. 13, 1980. Edith worked as a cook and matron for the Tuscola County Sheriff's Department. She loved time with her family.

Edith is survived by her children, Albert (Kathy Evans) Pugh of Allegan, Roger (Elaine Zalut) Pugh of Deford and Sandra (Al) Ouillette of Posen, grandchildren, Jay of Flint, Megan and Audrey, both of Alpena, Becky and Caleb, both of Posen, Beverly of Saginaw and Johnny of Caro, and 7 great grandchildren and her step father, Thyolus Pugh. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Edith Mae Pugh and a sister, Ruby Irene Laws.

Visitation is Fri., Nov. 23, from 3 until 8 PM and on Sat., Nov. 24, from 10 until an 11 AM service at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City. Pastor David Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Novesta Township Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund.
