Edna Mae Mitchell

Mrs. Edna Mae Mitchell, age 74, of Ubly, MI passed away Friday, November 23, 2007 at Caro Community Hospital, Caro, MI.

Edna Mae was born April 5, 1933 in Cass City, MI, the daughter of the late Howard and Lois (Moss) Hill. She married Hugh Mitchell on May 29, 1954 at Mizpah Church, Evergreen Township, MI. She loved flower gardening, playing the piano and was a devoted Christian wife and mother.

Edna Mae is survived by her husband of 53 years, Hugh, sons, Robert Mitchell of Ubly and William Mitchell of Stanton,MI, a grandson, Brock (Cassandra) McLellan of Bad Axe, MI and great grandsons, Cameron and Victor McLellan, a brother, Howard (Bonnie) Hill, Jr. of Ubly and a sister, Veras (Vito) Cipparone of Fenton, MI. She was predeceased by a brother, Eldon Hill, and two sisters Marie Clara and Ella Jean Ware.

Visiting is Monday, November 26, from 3 until 8 PM at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City and Tuesday, November 27 from 9 until a 10 AM service at First Baptist Church, 6420 Houghton St., Cass City, Pastor David Hill and Rev. John Wood officiating. Burial will be in Novesta Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church.
