Eugene Donovan Obituary
Mr. Eugene H. Donovan, age 82, of Gagetown, formerly of Caro, passed away Friday, April 6, 2012, at McLaren Bay Region Hospital, Bay City.
He was born November 9, 1929 in Detroit, the son of the late Ward and Margaret (Goyer) Donovan. He married Antonina Gajor in 1975. Eugene worked as a safety inspector for elevator construction with the State of Michigan and as a business agent for the International Brotherhood of Elevator Constructors #85. He served in the U S Army in the Korean Conflict and most of all loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Toni, children, Sue Donovan of Utica, Nancy (Bill) Donovan-Barbour of Sterling Heights, Charles( Sandy) Donovan of IL, Jeanne (Joe) Donovan-Adams of Coleman, Ward (Debbie) Donovan of Caro, Joseph (Sara Kady) Donovan of Gagetown, Jim (JoLynne) Stewart of WI and Sheila (Randy) Czapla of Deford, 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Private funeral services will be followed by burial in Ellington Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
