Mr. Eugene H. Wilson, age 84, of Cass City, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2007 at his residence.
Gene was born June 17, 1922 in Detroit, the son of the late Frank and Mae (Blaire) Wilson. On June 17, 1967 he married Antoinette Germilhac in Mt. Clemens. Gene served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, and worked in chassis mock-up for Tucker Motor Car Co., he was also self-employed as owner of Urethane Rubber, he enjoyed Oil Painting, and was a member of the VFW in Centerline and the K. of C. in Cass City.
Gene is survived by his wife, Antoinette, his son, Eugene M. Wilson, his grandson, Eugene M. Wilson, II and many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Maxine Gooche.
Following Gene's wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 31, 2007 at 12:30 PM at St. Pancratius Catholic Church, 4292 S. Seeger, Cass City, Scott Mills officiating. Military honors will be under the direction of the U. S. Navy and Cass City VFW Post.
