Evelyn G. Bell

Evelyn G. Bell, age 94, of Sun City, AZ, formerly of Shelby Township, MI, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2006 at Hospice of Arizona - Plaza Del Rio, Peoria, AZ.

Evelyn was born February 13, 1912 in Detroit, MI the daughter of the late Adam and Rachel (DiLaura) Bell. Evelyn taught piano and organ, and was the organist at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Detroit for many years.

Evelyn is survived by her sisters, Norma Young and Clara Peters. She was predeceased by siblings, Eleanor, Johnny and Virginia.

A committal service will be held Thursday, December 21, 2006 at 12 noon at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 17100 Van Dyke, Detroit, with Fr. Don Sopiak of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, Detroit, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
