Mr. Floyd W. Wroubel, age 81, of Ubly passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025 at his home.
Floyd was born February 28, 1943 in Bad Axe, the son of the late Floyd and Agnes (Zoble) Wroubel. On September 5, 1964 he married Linda Franzel in St. Joseph Church, Argyle. She passed away July 9, 2014. He worked as a forklift driver for GM Saginaw Steering Gear, which he retired from. He enjoyed old car shows, fishing, westerns, polka music, going to casinos and tractors.
Floyd is survived by his children, Lori (Ed) Sadro of Ubly, Lisa (Ray) Stec of Caro, Angie (Jim) Iwankovitsch of Clarkston and Amy (David) Retan of Caro, grandchildren, Nick, Allison, Marissa, Brandi, Jake, Mandy, Ella and Brooke and 5 great grandchildren, sisters, Joyce (Bill) Juhasz of Cass City and Elaine Barker of FL. He was predeceased by brothers, Harold, Ronnie, Jerry and a sister, Shirley Slater.
Visitation is Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 10 AM until 12 Noon at Good Shepherd Parish, St. Ignatius Church, 1826 Cumber Rd., Ubly. Funeral mass at 12 noon. Fr. Nate Harburg as celebrant. Burial in the spring in St. Ignatius Cemetery, Frieburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Good Shepherd Parish.
