Frances Bellew Obituary
Mrs. Frances E. Bellew, age 82, of Cass City, and Lakeland, FL, passed away on Sun., Nov. 22, 2020 at Northwood Meadows, Cass City.
She was born Jan. 22, 1938, in Detroit, to the late John and Anna (Wilchesky) Jeckewicz. Fran married Frank “Ernie” Bellew. He passed away Oct. 1, 2009. She worked at Blue Cross/Blue Shield in Detroit, volunteered at Hills and Dales General Hospital and at Lakeland General Hospital. Fran also enjoyed golf, reading gardening, was a member of the Cass City Garden Club and enjoyed winters in Lakeland, FL.
She is survived by two sons, Curt (Corrine) Bellew of Riverview and Craig (Mary) Bellew of Cass City, grandchildren, Derek (Erica) Bellew and Jessica (Andrew) Robbins. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Agnes, Sue, Tony, Stanley, John and her twin brother, Frank.
A private funeral service will take place. Honoring Fran’s wishes cremation will follow at Sunset Valley Crematory, Bay City.
