Mrs. Frances A. Briolat, age 82, of Cass City, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at Tendercare, Cass City.
Frances was born March 9, 1924 in Siegel Twp, the daughter of the late Julius and Frances (Makowski) Klebba. On September 16, 1941 she married Clemence Briolat in Parisville, he passed away November 15, 1992. Frances was a lifelong resident of Cass City, attended Duda Country School, worked at Tusco, Hamill Manufacturing and Provincial House, all in Cass City and enjoyed gardening.
Frances is survived by her children, Marion (Larry) White of Saginaw, Marvin (Tracy) Briolat of Davison, Gloria (David) Michalski of Ubly, Yvonne (Garry) Edzik of Cass City and Loretta (Marvin) Smalley of Ruth, 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter Rita Judd, a great grandson, Duane Benjamin and brothers, Martin, Joe, John and Frank.
Visiting is Friday, February 23, from 2 until 9 PM at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City with a Rosary at 7:30 PM and Saturday, February 24 from 10 until an 11 AM Mass at St. Pancratius Catholic Church, 4292 S. Seeger, Cass City with Fr. Steve Fillion as celebrant. Burial will be in Elkland Township Cemetery.
