Frank Preba Obituary
Mr. Frank Junior Preba, age 80, of Cass City, passed away Friday, August 5, 2011, after a long illness, at his home, with his family at his side.
He was born April 11, 1931 in Ubly, the son of the late Frank and Rose (Rosinski) Preba. Frank married Elizabeth Metko on January 1, 1956 in Rogers City. She passed away November 6, 2006. He was a lifelong farmer and loved his Ford Jubilee tractor and he worked as a Hi-Lo Driver for Tower Automotive, he sailed on Great Lakes ships when younger, and enjoyed gardening, Casinos and time with his family. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus - Cass City/Gagetown.
Frank is survived by a daughter, Kathy Sweet and a son, Frank, both of Cass City, son-in-law Eugene Vincent, grandchildren, Nathan Sweet, Josuha (fiancé - Kendra Wilson) Vincent and Ashley Vincent, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Susan Vincent and 5 sisters and 3 brothers.
Visiting will be Sunday, August 7, 2011 from 1 until a 2 PM service at St. Pancratius Catholic Church, 4292 Seeger, Cass City. Scott Mills and Sr. Maria Dina Puddu officiating. Memorials may be made to Americans Hospice Care, 2575 McLeod Dr., Suite C, Saginaw, MI 48604.
