Geneva Schember Obituary
Mrs. Geneva "Eva" Marie Schember, age 71, of Cass City, passed away Friday, March 12, 2010 at her home.
Eva was born December 24, 1938 in Ubly, the daughter of the late Harry and Elizabeth (Furness) Pierce. She married Clare Schember October 27, 1979 in Bad Axe. He passed away October 29, 2009. She liked collecting Indian Artifacts, crafts, gardening, Nascar and family get togethers and cooking large meals. She really enjoyed her grandchildren and special time with her grandson, Xander. She was very active in the VFW auxiliary and as a Red Cross blood donor.
Eva is survived by her children, Karen Feldhouse of Elkton, Deborah (John) Herrmann of OH, Kevin Clark of Corunna, Michelle Tkacz of CA, Michael (Jamie) Tkacz and Joseph (Rhonda) Tkacz, both of Owendale, 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, siblings, James (Cheryl) Pierce of NE, Jerry (Sonia) Pierce of Sebewaing, Kenneth (Joan) Pierce of Kingston, Robert (Lou) Pierce of South Lyon, Carolyn Bayer of Taylor and Roy (Elizabeth) Pierce of Kimball. She was predeceased by a son, James Clark, brothers, Willard "Billy" Pierce and Joseph Pierce.
Memorial visitation is Monday, March 15, 2010 from 2 until 6 PM and Tuesday, March 16, 2010 from 12 noon until a 1 PM service at Thabet Funeral Home,6255 Main St., Cass City. Pastor William Wright of Trinity United Methodist Church will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund.
