Geraldine E. Britt

Mrs. Geraldine "Gerry" E. Britt , age 80, of Cass City, formerly of Colfax Twp., passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2006 at her home.

Gerry was born April 4, 1926 in Dayton Twp., MI the daughter of the late Wendell and Elizabeth (Donnelly) Kelley. On March 6, 1943 she married Willard Britt in Bad Axe. Willard passed away May 28, 2004. She worked in sales for Murray's, Kritzman's and the Clothes Closet, all in Bad Axe for many years. She enjoyed time with her family and was a very good mother.

Gerry is survived by her sons, Richard (Patricia) Britt of Cass City and James Britt of Ubly, grandchildren, Lisa Britt, Paul (Sechenia) Britt, Larissa Parkey and Gareth (Melissa) Britt, and great grandchildren, Antonia, Aston, Jeremy and Lance, and siblings, Ken (Dee) Kelley of Sandusky, Bill (Louise) Kelley of MA and Betty (the late Joe) Dombrowski of Bad Axe. She was predeceased by her son Larry (Jacqueline) Britt of TX.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at 11 AM at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City with Pastor Larry VanSlambrook officiating. Visiting will be Monday, October 16, 2006 from 3 until 9 PM. Burial will be in Elkland Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund.
