Mr. Glen F. Hedley, age 97, passed away, Saturday, January 2, 2021 at McLaren Bay Region Hospital, Bay City.
He was born May 27, 1923, in Akron, the son of the late Reid and Violet (Heckroth) Hedley. Glen for most of his life, was a farmer, but he also lived in the Au Gres area for several years and bought and sold mobile homes during that time. He also, owned and operated two bars over the years in Saginaw, the Jane Street Bar and the Keg.
Glen is survived by his two sons, Kim (Kim) Hedley of Sebewaing and Bryon (Sheila) Hedley of New Hampshire, three grandchildren, Kori, Kristi (K. C.) Gaeth and Nathan, three great grandchildren, Joshua, Jakob and Kaleigh, a sister, Arla Sanborn of Arizona.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Donald Hedley.
Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and burial will take place in the summer, at Moravian Cemetery, Unionville.
