Harland Wilson Obituary

Mr. Harland James Wilson, age 69, of Anderson, SC, formerly of Cass City, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2011, at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.

He was born October 27, 1941 in Detroit, the son of the late Harland and Alvina (Erz) Wilson. Harland married his wife Ann Marie on November 28, 1998 in Anderson. He served in the U S Navy and was a founding member of the Cass City VFW Post 3644, a member the Masonic Lodge, and worked for Sandusky Mental Health and Home Health and Hospice.

Harland is survived by his wife, Ann Marie, children Colleen (Joe "Skip") Dicello of IL, Bonnie Ware of Cass City and Daniel Wilson of CT, 2 step children, James (Kathy) Kerrigan of Clarkston and Robert Kerrigan of Birchville, and 7 grandchildren. He was predeceased by two infant children, Harland James Wilson and Heather Rose Wilson.

Visiting will be Friday, August 12, from 1 until 9 PM at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City and on Saturday, August 13, from 12 noon until a 1 PM service at Novesta Church of Christ, 2896 Cemetery Rd., Cass City. Brad Speirs officiating. Burial will be in Elkland Township Cemetery, Cass City. Honors service by members of the Cass VFW Post 3644 and members of the U S Navy.
