Harry Wilmer Steele

Mr. Harry Wilmer Steele, age 76, of Cass City passed away at St. Mary's of Michigan, Saginaw on
Thursday, October 11, 2007.

Harry was born on December 24, 1930 in Detroit. Harry was self-employed as a carpenter in residential building and was a veteran of the US Navy during the Korean War.

Harry is survived by his companion of 21 years, Julia Eckert of Cass City, children, Elizabeth (Randy) Finley of Armada, Joseph (Sandy) Carlson of Wisconsin, James Carlson of Cass City, Laurie (Frank) Spadafino, Linda Carlson, Julia (Chris) Beaver, all of Wisconsin, John Carlson and Douglas Eckert, both of Cass City and Angela Howe of Texas, 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and many, many friends. He was predeceased by Michael and Mary Carlson.

At Mr. Steele's request his body has been donated for medical research and will be eventually buried in Evergreen Township Cemetery.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
