Mr. Henry Nolan, age 78, of Cass City, passed away Friday, September 2, 2005 at his home.
He was born June 6, 1927 in Cass City, the son of the late Harry and Mary (Ott) Nowland. Henry was a WW II U. S. Air Force veteran. On December 12, 1953 he married Shirley Pike. He worked for Cass City Steel, retiring in 1998 and enjoyed working outdoors and gardening.
Hank is survived by his wife, Shirley, children, Fred Nolan, Matthew Nolan, Joseph Nolan, Lee Nolan, Nicholas Nolan, Mike Nolan, Henry "Hank" Nolan, Jr., Richard (Leinani) Nolan, Suzanne Nolan, David Nolan and Robert Nolan, two grandchildren, Lora Nolan and Josh Nolan, a great grandchild, Jocquaz Jeffrey, and three sisters, Eileen (Fred) Kilbourn, Donna Brescoe, and Violet (the late Frank) Englehart. He was predeceased by brothers and sisters, Lila Kerbyson, Irma Nowland, Evelyn Van Horn, June Luettke, Kenneth Nowland, and Robert "Bob" Nowland.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
