Ida M. Jewett

Mrs. Ida M. Jewett, age 91, of Cass City, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2019

at Tuscola County Medical Care Facility, Caro.

She was born January 30, 1928 to the late Louis and Pansy (Carrow) LeBlanc, in

Cheyboygan. Ida married Charles Jewett October 19, 1946 in Detroit. He passed

away, October 12, 1991. She worked for Hamill Manfacturing in Bad Axe and worked

with Big Brothers and Big Sisters, she enjoyed bingo, going to the casino, flea markets,

cooking and her Detroit Tigers.

She is survived by a son, Timothy (Kathy) Jewett and a daughter/granddaughter,

Samantha (David) Price of Saginaw, 4 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and

9 great, great grandchidren. She was predeceased by 2 daughters, Linda Gough

and Rita Murphy and by 16 brothers and sisters.

Visitation is on Saturday, October 12, 2019, 2 until 4 PM at the Thabet Funeral Home,

6255 Main St., Cass City with a funeral service at 4 PM. Judy Esckilsen will officiate.

Burial will be at a later date in Elkland Township Cemetery.
