Irene M. Doerr

Mrs. Irene M. Doerr, age 85, of Cass City,
went to be with our Lord and Savior, Fri.,
May 23, 2014 at Tendercare Cass City.

She was born Feb. 24, 1929 in Redford, daughter
of the late John and Marion (Brown) Guinther.
She married Jack Doerr on Jan. 3, 1953 in St.
Pancratius Catholic Church, Cass City. He passed
away on Aug. 17, 2012. She worked at Stevens
Nursing Home, General Cable and Sommer's Bakery.
She enjoyed camping, fishing, cards, euchre, bingo
and the casino, and time with her family.

Irene is survived by her sons, James (Brenda) Doerr of Caro
and Michael (fiancee, Susan Gray) Doerr of Bay Port, 4 grand
daughters, Jessica Doerr of Pigeon, Sadie (Andrew)
Garza of Caro, Jasmine Doerr of Pigeon and Jacquelyn
Doerr of Sebewaing, great grandchildren, Bayze Doerr of
Sebewaing and Willow Garza of Caro. Siblings Stanley
(Melva) Guinther, Richard Guinther, Norma (Richard)
Szarapski, Marilyn (Jim) Young, and James (JoAnn)
Guinther and many other family members. She was
predeceased by a grandson, Levi Doerr in 2004, and
siblings, Hazel Guinther, Evelyn Gruber, Lyle Guinther,
Harold Guinther, John L. Guinther, Roger Guinther, Lawrence
Guinther and Charles Guinther.

A visitation will be held Tue., May 27, 2014 at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City, from 1 until 8 PM with a Rosary at 6 PM. Instate Wed. May 28, 2014 at St. Pancratius Catholic Church, 4292
Seeger St., Cass City at 10 AM until an 11 AM Funeral Mass,
Fr. Paul Bala and Sr. Maria Dina Paddu officiating. Burial
will be in Elkland Township Cemetery, Cass City.
