Irene Clara King, age 79, of Troy, MI, formerly of Cass City, MI passed away at her son Gary's home in Oxford, MI on Monday, October 29, 2007.
Irene was born January 2, 1928 in Cass City the daughter of the late Roy and Violet (Anderson) Morrison. Irene worked as a waitress at Peabody's Restaurant in Birmingham, MI for many years.
Irene is survived by her children, Gary (Laura) McGrath of Oxford and Paula (Paul Bridges) McGrath of Attica, MI, two step-sons, Phil (Aiden) King of Rochester, MI and Bill King of Sterling Heights, MI, a brother, Bob (Betty) Kelly of Kingston, MI and a sister, Polly (the late Frank) Harbec of Cass City, 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was predeceased by a son, Michael McGrath.
Honoring Irene's wishes, private burial has taken place in Elkland Township Cemetery.
