James J. Groombridge, age 76, of Cass City, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 with family at his side.
He was born on December 19, 1949 in Flint, MI to Wellington and Donna (Erickson) Groombridge.
Jim is survived by his wife Arlene, son, Matthew of Cass City, daughter, Jennifer (Mark) Sroka of Flushing. Granddaughters, Heather, Amber and Haley. 4 great grandchildren. A brother, Larry of Traverse City and a sister, Sue (Lee) Voss of Deford.
Jim was preceeded in death by his parents, sister Sally, brother, Jack and daughter-in-law, Christina.
Honoring Jim's wish cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
The family would like to express their heart felt gratitude to Elizabeth (nurse), Dom (chaplin) and all the staff at United Hospice of Marlette.
