James McDonald Obituary
Mr. James Leroy McDonald, age 89, of Cass City passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Autumnwood of Deckerville.
He was born April 14, 1934 in Cass City. He was the son of the late Francis and Hariette (LaPratt) McDonald. James graduated in 1952 from Cass City High School. He served for 4 years in the U. S. Navy during the Korean War where he was on the Underwater Demolition Team and then worked as a Journeyman Lineman/Electrical Contractor for 37 years with the I.B.E.W. He enjoyed time with family and friends telling stories.
James is survived by his children, Sandra (Vince) McDonald-Hangach of Dearborn Heights, James (Margaret Pasanski) McDonald, Patrick McDonald, John (Angie) Zagorski and Kimberly Walsh, all of Cass City, grandchildren, Kelby Rowell, Logan Rowell and Joshua Wark and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Robert McDonald and Richard McDonald and his former spouse, Patricia McDonald.
Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
