Janette Sue Mulrath

Mrs. Janette Sue Mulrath, age 70, of Cass City, passed away Thurs, Oct. 19, 2023 at Hills and Dales General Hospital, Cass City.

She was born May 25, 1953, in South Williamson, KY, daughter of the late James and Ethel (Mae) Lowe. On Feb 25, 1971, she married Peter N. Mulrath, Sr. in Caro. Janette worked as a nurse’s aide and was also a homemaker. She enjoyed camping, walking, cross stitching, canning and gardening and loved time with family, especially her grandchildren.

Janette is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Peter, sons, Jeff Mulrath of KY and Peter (Tina) Mulrath, Jr.  of Cass City, grandchildren, J. J., Jessica, Ashley and Rebecca, a great grandchild, Jaxon and a brother, Russell (Janet) Scott of KY. She was predeceased by brothers, Gene and Lonnie Scott and sisters, Linda Wood, Barbara McAllister and Brenda.

Visiting will be Mon. Oct. 23, 2023, from 10 AM until 2 PM at Thabet Funeral Home, 6255 Main St., Cass City. Honoring Janette’s wishes, cremation will follow.
