Mr. Jay M. Herman, age 60, of Flint, passed away suddenly,
Sunday, March 12, 2017, in Hurley Medical Center, Flint.
He was born February 14, 1957 in Flint, son of the late Charles
and Norma (Cooper) Herman. Jay married Louann Root. She
passed away November 18, 1989. He served in the U S Army
during the Vietnam War, and worked for many years in construction,
and worked at Schneeberger's for a few years. After Louann's passing
he mainly devoted himself to raising his children.
Jay is survived by his children, Jay Herman of Flint and Alisa (David)
Palomares, Jr. of Wayne, grandchildren, Natalie, Gabriel and Aleigha,
sisters, Jana and Randa, and a cousin, Guy Rolfe.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Monday,
March 20, 2017 at Mizpah Missionary Church, 4631 N. Van Dyke, Cass
City. Pastor Dale Bullock officiating. Friends and family may start gathering
at 11:30 AM.
Burial will be in the spring in Elkland Township Cemetery.
