Jean Brown Obituary
Jean Brown, age 70, of Millington, passed away Monday, October 6, 2014 at Genesys Regional Medical Center, Grand Blanc after a short illness with her family at her side.
Jean was born May 15, 1944 in Fremont Township, daughter of the late Bird Bud and Florence Lillian (Berlin) Brown. She retired after 30 years with General Motors, enjoyed playing cards with her family, and was a big Detroit Tigers fan.
She is survived by 3 sisters, Wanda (James) Klauka of Cass City, Shirley Daly of AZ and Janet (Jim) Knapp of Lapeer, a brother, Les (Pat) Brown of Millington, and many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a stillborn daughter, Heather Brown, siblings, Orie, Vern, Larry, Gail, Ross and Judy Brown, brother-in-laws, Edward Lebioda and Tom Daly and a niece, Gena Louise Knapp.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial visitation will be held Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Novesta Church of Christ, 2896 Cemetery Rd., Cass City with a memorial service beginning at 1:30 PM. Brad Speirs officiating. Burial will be in Watertown Township Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
