Jessica Rae Lynn Yax

Jessica Rae Lynn Yax, age 31, formerly of Cass City, passed away unexpectedly at the Bay City Good Samaritan Rescue Shelter.

She was born to Valirie (Yax) Luana on April 8, 1993. After quitting school in 2012, she went on to complete high school and graduated in 2015 from Cass City High School. She was married briefly to Thomas Rinnert of Owendale in 2019. Jessica was a woman full of life and tried living life to the fullest. She had her first child in October of 2021 and her second in March of 2023. She tried to better herself and took parenting classes. She loved playing with her children, talking and video chatting on her phone, taking pictures of her daughters, spending time with her family, friends and her dog Bella.

Jessica is survived by her daughters, Elise Yax and Pheobe Fox, her mother, Valirie (Yax) Luana, stepfather, Howard Luana, Brother, Joseph Ellithrope, Pheobe’s half sister, Aubree Fox and their father, Tyler Fox, grandmother, Valirie (Warford) Yax and several uncles, aunts and cousins, to many to name them all. She was proceeded in death by grandfather, Herbert Yax, cousins, Jordan Yax and Samuel McClenan, ex-husband, Thomas Rinnert and aunt Marci Baker.

Visitation is Wednesday, December 4, 2024 from 12 noon until 1 PM at Deford Community Church, 1392 Kingston Rd., Deford. Funeral service at 1 PM with Pastor David Cooper officiating.
